Treatment Focus/ Specialities: Craniosacral Therapy
Phoebe Larkin is a state licensed and nationally certified massage therapist. After completing massage school at Cortiva Institute in Seattle, WA, she began her training in CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release with the Upledger Institute. Although she comes from a more clinical, treatment-oriented background, it is through CST that she feels most effective in her ability to help people heal and find their way inward, closer to their bodies and their selves.
Her sessions are centered around CranioSacral Therapy and as such, are tailor-made to suit each body she works with. She also draws on her various skill sets in order to best serve each client she treats. This includes myofascial release, injury treatment and prevention, posture assessment and alignment, and education around self-care techniques. Phoebe’s work is guided by the belief that the human body is in and of itself a powerful instrument of self-healing, and that to heal is to find connection with both the self and the world around us. Ultimately, her role as a therapist is to facilitate and support that process in whatever form it takes
