A note from Charlotte:

Eight months ago I was diagnosed with Colitis after having intense GI issues. I wanted to have a better understanding of the the root cause of the inflammation so I persevered. I was having other symptoms, my hands hurt all the time, blurred vision (thought it was my age), and pain in my knee so I found a doctor that would provide the Igenx test for Lyme. I discovered that I had Lyme and the co-infection, Bartonella, It has been a very long road, not as long as many others have experienced. I think many people go undiagnosed and suffer. It can be very debilitating, frustrating and isolating. I am shocked by the lack of some doctor's compassion and understanding of the disease. This is a very serious disease and should not be taken lightly. We need to surround ourselves with people that understand and support the patient and the disease. My goal is to provide awareness and education to the community.
