A Journey Through Grief: Helping To Heal A Broken Heart.

Grief is a normal and natural response to loss.

Grief and mourning are commonly perceived as something that need to be fixed, mainly because it makes everyone around the griever uncomfortable or not knowing how to best support them.
Unfortunately, we live in a world that sees grief as something not natural or normal and grievers need to simply get over it and move forward.
As a result, the bereaved feel misunderstood, and they end up grieving in silence, while the topic of death becomes a stronger taboo.

In this workshop,  some of our discussion will include:  the myths of grief, the "do's and don'ts" of what to say to someone grieving, helping those on their grief journey,  our own fears and beliefs about death,  grief and mourning, remembering those we have loved and lost.
